For the Gameforge servers you need to select the metin2client.exe file.
For the private servers, you must select the patcher or the client of the server. You can find the name of the file in the Task Manager while you are manually logged in to the PServer.
If you want to use the bot on a private server, you first have to press the button "I want to play on a P-Server".
Login methods (Gameforge)
The default values and a fishing rod +2 should be enough for most users.
The pickup bot can only pickup all skill books or none. You can sell single skill books in the shop (tutorial in the guides section).
The 'Fast Pickup' has been fixed on the Gameforge servers and some private servers.
On the Gameforge servers the wallhack does not work on some maps. This is because of e.g. mountains. On houses and mobs it works without problems.
If these functions cause problems for you, then you should avoid them.
Due to technical reasons, on some P-Servers the CH-Changer and the function "waiting x ms after boss/metin is dead" do not work.

Yes, you can get banned by using a bot. In the most cases you get banned because you use the bot in too obvius ways and / or too violent.
We recommend to use our anti-ban settings. Additionally you can opt for lower values for some functions like the waithack and speed hack.
Just don't make it too obvious that you are using a bot.
Yes, you can still get banned. The Anti-Ban function just minimizes the risk. There is no 100% protection against bans, if you are using a third-party software.
We are currently not aware of any kind of automated bans on the Gameforge servers.

Probably your anti-virus blocked the download. Try downloading the full archive from the website or deactivate your anti virus.
Some anti virus scanners show a false-positive report. You need to deactivate the anti virus or put M2Bob on the white-list, then it will work.
First make sure that you selected the correct Metin2 Client. If that is the case and you play on a P-Server, it looks like your server is not supported currently.
Then check if somebody already reported that server, and if that´s not the case, tell the M2Bob team about the problem in the specific collection thread for this server.
This is an error from a P-Server patcher. You need to wait for a new M2Bob version, it will be written in the changelog when it has been fixed.
At the first login per slot, you need to login manually. After that the bot saves your login data and will login automatically.
That is an error from the hackshield. To solve it, just restart your PC.

This is an error which probably also occures when you try starting Metin2 without M2Bob! You can fix it with restarting your pc and not starting unnecessary programs(starting M2Bob immediately after windows start!) If the error still occurs, you have to ask in the offcial Metin2 forum of your country!
This error tells you, that some files are corrupted. You have to delete M2Bob and redownload the full archive from m2bob.net.
To fix the error Access violation at address XXX, you need to turn off the virus scanner (+ Windows Defender) and restart the PC.
There are multiple reasons what could be going wrong here and if one solution doesn't work you should try the next.
1. Your IP is on a blacklist (high cause if you are using a VPN)
2. You logged in too many times with the same IP (too many login requests)
3. You are using Proxyfier but configured it wrongly
4. Your account is blocked on the server
1. Change your IP or disable your VPN. You can try the account in the Gameforge Client without VPNs/Proxys and without M2Bob to see if the IP is the reason. If you still get an error, try deleting the Cache of the Gameforge Client using the "Delete GF Client Cache" button in the Launcher at "GF login options". You can also uninstall the GF Client and use CCleaner and reinstall it to be 100% sure all files are really gone.
2. Just wait a few hours (usually 3-4) and retry it. Do not use too many accounts at the same time with the same IP. Also legit players are getting errors here if they are using too many accounts and sending too many login requests.
If you still need many accounts you can also try configuring the Login groups ("GF login options"). Try groupding accounts with the same IP in the same group (name doesnt matter, it just needs to be the same)
3. Try disabling Proxyfier entirely and try logging in. If it still doesnt work here, try #2
4. Change your IP(important, you can use utrace.de to make sure your IP did change) and create a new account. Then try using this account in the Gameforge Client to see if the account is the reason.
If you still get an error, try deleting the Cache of the Gameforge Client using the "Delete GF Client Cache" button in the Launcher at "GF login options".
You can also uninstall the GF Client and use CCleaner and reinstall it to be 100% sure all files are really gone. Be careful to not login with the old, flagged account again, otherwise you must do the steps again.
Optional for #1 and #4: If it doesnt work for you, you can try using the Software TMac v6 to change your MAC Address too in addition to all these steps. (TMac v6)
